In September 2017, during my few days off from work I took a hike to Snieznik mountain (1426 m a.s.l.). It was a cold, foggy day, but I just love walking through a forest in a thick fog.
Late in 2017 I was on a 4 day workshop in Jizera Mountains on Czech side. We visited few places, got up at 4am, climbed the mountain in the dark, took photos, came down to rest and eat and in the afternoon climbed another place, took photos and came back in the dark. I must tell that it was very tiring. I was expecting a little better photos but you can’t really control weather (although it was not all bad) and I wasn’t really “feeling” all the places. But it was fun I do not regret doing it. And I really needed a group nudge to wake up and climb a mountain so early in the morning, basically doing it being half asleep. :)
First small patch is from Palicznik peak, sunset time. A lot of clouds unfortunately.
Second patch was taken during sunrise from Frýdlantské Cimbuří peak, then catched waterfalls on the way down.
Third patch is from sunrise from Jizera peak.
Last sunrise - village Jizerka.
Lastly, on my way back I snapped a photo of Frydlant Castle.
So this Sunday I took advantage of a lovely, spring weather and decided to go hiking. I picked up Bystrzyckie mountains, as this is the region I rarely visit. The weather was amazing, just recently I was still wearing my winter jacket. The amount of snow was a little too much though, I ended too many times up above my knees in the snow. Photos aren't anything special, but here they are..
This autumn (yes, it's still 2015) I was for the second time in so called Rock City (polish Skalne Miasto) in Czech Republic. It was a lovely hike on a warm, mostly sunny day, ended with a fried cheese and 2 hour ride back home. I was there for the first time in 2012, but photos still wait for some form of inspiration.
