Thanks Jimi Festival@2011

Here are some photos 2011 edition of Thanks Jimi Festival on 30th of April. That year 5601 people came to play "Hey Joe" on Wrocław's city square.

Hooded Crow

The Hooded Crow (Corvus cornix) (also called hoodiecrow) is a Eurasian bird species in the crow genus. Widely distributed, it is also known locally as Scotch crow, Danish crow, and corbie or grey crow in Ireland. Found across Northern, Eastern and Southeastern Europe, as well as parts of the Middle East, it is an ashy grey bird with black head, throat, wings, tail and thigh feathers, as well as a black bill, eyes and feet. Like other corvids it is an omnivorous and opportunistic forager and feeder.

Thanks Jimi Festival@2010

Well, I do not have much time lately to put anything here, so here's a quick one from the old albums - my first Thanks Jimi Festival in 2010.

Thanks Jimi Festival@2013

Uhh, finally! I took quite some time (over a year) to process couple of shots from 2013 edition of Thanks Jimi Festival that's being held in a beautiful city of Wrocław, Poland. 2013th edition did not have very good weather. It was very cold, a bit rainy, so there was no chance for another Guinness record. 5734 guitarists showed on Wrocław's main town square. The last record comes from 2014 edition (which I did not attend) with 7344 people playing. For more information check official website: http://en.heyjoe.pl/ . Click on the photo to see full story.

Abandoned Locomotive Depot

Late in 2012 I went with my photo colleagues to check on old, abandoned locomotive depot in Wrocław, Poland. The place is almost stripped off of everything, it's hard to find information on when it stopped operating.
